Miss Janine Marie Tugonon stunned the audience when she was crowned Binibining Pilipinas 2012 (Miss Universe-Philippines 2012) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The beauty pageant was presented by ABS-CBN.
Janine Marie Tugonon from Balanga, Bataan, 22, beat the set of 29 hopefuls as they showed off swimsuits, long evening gowns and interview skills in a bid to impress a panel of judges. 


Tugonon has won prizes that run up to millions of pesos including BPCI Management Contract worth P500,0000. The winner is expected to become the object of national accolade and endorser of several brands.
