An eight-year-old boy was killed after a grenade exploded in an alley in Barangay Sto. Niño, Pasay City Wednesday evening.
Paul Kevin Doctolero was just passing by the alley when he noticed that something was thrown near him. When he tried to pick up the object, it exploded.
Five others were wounded because of the grenade explosion that happened around 7 p.m.
According to the initial investigation, an unidentified man threw the grenade then fled the scene immediately.
Authorities are looking into the angle of a double cross involving illegal drugs as a possible motive for the grenade throwing incident.
