Russia is ready to work with the Philippines in tending to its energy interest as the Russia-Ukraine struggle keeps on delaying, Moscow's negotiator to Manila said Monday.

"We are prepared to help out the Filipino side and stretch out our assistance to fulfill the necessities in wellsprings of energy," Russian Ambassador to the Philippines Marat Pavlov told correspondents after his politeness approach president-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Pavlov's comments come as the conflict in Ukraine keeps on compromising the worldwide fuel supply, which has added to soaring siphon costs locally.
