Jackie Chan and a film crew were rescued on Aug. 6 in China after a mudslide hit the production of his upcoming film Project X.

Chan said that filming was interrupted in the last few days because the weather changed and triggered a mudslide.

His crew and equipment were caught in the real-life natural disaster.

Nobody was seriously injured but Chan took to his blog to let his fans know everyone is safe.

“Many of the crew became frightened because it was so sudden. Luckily, some large hook trucks come to our rescue and helped tow our production trucks to safety,” Chan wrote.

“Our production team will learn from this experience; be more alert to the weather conditions, do our best to protect our crewmembers and ensure that working conditions are absolutely safe. Thanks to everyone for your hard work!” Chan concluded.

This isn’t the first time Chan has dealt with on-set accidents.

In 2014, cinematographer Chan Kwow-hung drowned after a boat containing seven other film crewmembers turned over off the coast of Lantau Island in Hong Kong while working on the action comedy Skiptrace.
