Beyonce and Taylor Swift, who are now linked together for something more than Kanye West. To go along with their wins, Beyonce and Swift also performed, to remind viewers of why they were so big this year. But the Grammy winners 2010 list did have some awards for the rest of the nominees.
After Elton John and Lady Gaga opened the show with their expected antics, the 2010 Grammys carried on with the usual mix of awards and big performances. This year, Swift and Stevie Nicks performed together, while Pink performed acrobatics during "Glitter In The Sky," Beyonce combined Sasha Fierce with Alanis Morisette, and Michael Jackson was honored by almost a half dozen singers and in 3D.
As for the Grammy winners 2010 list, Beyonce and Swift took up the most space. For Beyonce, she made history with a record six awards. Among those on the Grammy winners 2010 list that weren't Swift or Beyonce, Kings of Leon had the biggest award for Record of the Year. 'Use Somebody' also won for Best Rock Song, while the likes of Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas also won multiple awards.
Green Day took home Best Rock Album, with the Black Eyed Peas winning for Pop Vocal Album, the Zach Brown Band getting Best New Artist, and Jason Miraz winning Male Pop Vocal Performance. Even Stephen Colbert got in on the act, winning Best Comedy Album for "A Colbert Christmas" after opening the show with some jokes.
